out.They concreted them back in on this type of angle V,yes a v shape.The post from the first gate was still in place and if it were not for that post the car would of been in my kitchen for sure.It was dug out as l went for the rest of the fencing the same way the other one is and it would end at the front part of the house,(l do have a porch out front) but the rest l was just going to use Ladis for my flowers.l have done everything to get these 2 jerks back and they just keep hanging up on me(because l am female) they are not licensed and as for any other help?? NO.sad When l purchased my house in 2000 l was so proud of myself and the reason for that is because us 3 kids (my brother and twin sis)we were raised under the roof of my Grandmother (dads mom) my grandmother hated my mom and vis-versa.My grandmother saw to much of my mother in me and lets just say l was paid to stay away come a certain age.Dad was never a man to stories out there in the land of books and talk shows that raising l said that word my Grandmother would tell me,''this is not your house''! l became rebelous over this.And then l was told that l was ''born in the gutters''l could not sit on couch,l could not do anything with her around and that is why l had to leave.My grandfather purchased that house 48 years ago l beleave,it is known to be the first house built on that st.paid $24,000 today it is valued at $900,000.l am the 2nd to purchase.
In most places it is illegal to do any contract / construction
work without a license if the work exceeds $500. Report them to the
cities building inspections dept. Unfortunately this will only levy a
large fine on the individual and wont do anything to fix your home. But
be careful, an inspector with a power trip could actually revoke occupancy
until corrections are made, it isn't common at all but depending on the
severity of damage it is possible.
Sorry to say you have no one to blame but yourself, 1st thing
every home owner should ask and see is the license they must carry on
their person to show they are a licensed contractor so the nightmares that
has already happened to you DOESN'T happen. You should contact your states
consumer protection office and hopefully they will instruct you what your
rights are, sorry this happened and good luck.
